Relativity

At speeds near light, time runs slower and lengths contract for the moving observer. Gravity, in general relativity, is the curving of space and time by mass rather than a force pulling across a gap.

Satellite navigation corrects for both effects or it would drift by kilometres a day.
E = mc squared says mass and energy are two forms of the same thing.

Quantum mechanics

At very small scales, energy comes in discrete packets and particles behave like waves. Outcomes are probabilities rather than certainties, which is unsettling and extremely well tested.
