What counts as a robot
Sense, think, act.
The loop
A robot takes in information about the world, chooses an action, and changes something physically. A washing machine follows a program; a robot responds to what it finds.
- Autonomy is a spectrum, from remote control to fully independent.
- Software agents are sometimes called robots and lack the physical half.
