The method
Name the relationship first.
Build a bridge sentence
State the link between the first pair in a short specific sentence: a bird lives in a nest. Then apply the same sentence to each option.
- Vague bridges let several options fit; make it specific.
- If two options both fit, the bridge needs sharpening.
Keep the direction
The relationship must run the same way in both pairs. Doctor to patient is not the same as patient to doctor, and options often exploit exactly that.
