Check the domain

The real domain sits immediately before the first single slash. Everything else, including a padlock and a convincing logo, can be reproduced by anyone.

  • Type addresses for banking and shopping, or use bookmarks.
  • Search results include paid impostor listings, which have defrauded people.

Downloads and extensions

Download from official sources, and treat browser extensions as software with full access to what you do. Install few, and review them occasionally.
