Many indigenous traditions are tied to specific land, ancestors and community, transmitted orally, and not organised around doctrine or conversion.

Bahai and Zoroastrianism are smaller organised traditions with long histories.
Diaspora religions such as Vodou and Candomble combine African and Christian elements.

Some knowledge is restricted to initiates by design. Outsider summaries risk misrepresenting what was never meant to be public.
