Kit and preparation

Before anything happens.

A useful kit

Gloves, assorted dressings and bandages, tape, scissors, a foil blanket, and any personal medication. Home, car and workplace each deserve one.

  • Check expiry dates once a year.
  • Know where the nearest public defibrillator is; several apps map them.

Keep emergency contacts and important medical details accessible, including on a phone lock screen. It saves minutes when someone else is helping you.
