Opening
Say why everyone is there and what has to be true by the end. A stated purpose prevents the drift that makes meetings feel wasted.
- Send the question in advance so people arrive with a view.
- Ask quiet participants directly; silence is not agreement.
Closing
Read back decisions, owners and dates, then circulate them the same day. Anything not written down will be remembered differently.
