Extra protections.
Cancellation
Distance selling rules commonly give a right to cancel within fourteen days of delivery without giving a reason, with a further period to return the goods.
- Exclusions include personalised items, perishables and unsealed hygiene products.
- Standard delivery costs are usually refundable; return postage may not be.
Delivery
The trader is responsible for goods until they reach you, so loss in transit is their problem. If no date was agreed, delivery within thirty days is a common default.
