Email basics

Reply all sends to everyone, blind copy hides recipients from each other, and forwarding carries the entire thread including anything above.

  • Check the recipient before sending; autocomplete picks the wrong person constantly.
  • Attachments have size limits; a link to shared storage is usually better.

Choosing a channel

Email for records, chat for quick exchange, calls for anything sensitive or ambiguous. Sending bad news by message reads worse than it was meant.
